Bruno Coriolano

#MUFCMundial: Brazil

Friday 22 June 2018 10:29

Brazilian Manchester United fan Bruno Coriolano is the latest supporter to take part in our #MUFCmundial series. He outlines his expectations for the South American side, his hopes for our new arrival, Fred, at the tournament and which former rival he would like to see in a United shirt.

Which country are you representing and why?
Brazil. I am from Brazil and I believe football is an intrinsic part of our culture.

How far do you think your team will go in the tournament - can they reach the final and win?
They will most certainly do well. The Brazilian national team is one of the best in the whole world. The whole team is better than the one that participated in the World Cup four years ago.

Four years on from the 2014 World Cup, Bruno Coriolano believes the Brazil squad in Russia is much improved.

Which United star do you think will shine brightest during this World Cup?
I do hope that all of them shine bright. But I am looking forward to see how Fred will do for the Brazilian national team.

Have you ever been to Old Trafford?
Yes, I visited Old Trafford five years ago – I would like to come back one day!

Which player from your national team would you love United to sign?
Willian or Philippe Coutinho, (or maybe Marcelo).

Chelsea's Willian drives forward with the ball for Brazil.
