Fernandes and Lindelof launch UNICEF fundraiser

United duo Bruno Fernandes and Victor Lindelof are hosting a prize draw in aid of UNICEF’S Ukraine Appeal, giving supporters the opportunity to win some amazing prizes.

This adds to the work the club has done with the organisation through our United for UNICEF campaign.

For £5, supporters can enter the draw for amazing prizes including signed shirts and boots, and a tour of the training ground with Fernandes and Lindelof.

Money raised will go towards helping families in Ukraine who are suffering due to the ongoing conflict in their country.

UNICEF uses the funds to provide access to clean water and give families access to primary healthcare and educational supplies to help maintain their health and learning.

At the beginning of May, we announced our support for UNICEF’s Children in Crisis campaign, which is focused on providing urgent humanitarian relief to children in crises such as wars and natural disasters.

Manchester United donated £50,000 to the appeal and raised further funds by auctioning off match-worn shirts from our trip to Brighton & Hove Albion on 7 May.

United were the first football club to form a partnership with UNICEF, back in 1999, and our collaboration has made positive changes to the lives of children around the world since. In over 20 years of partnership, United for UNICEF has raised more than £5 million through activities such as gala dinners at Old Trafford.

In addition to their competition, both Fernandes and Lindelof expressed their intention to make a personal donation to UNICEF upon the conclusion of the draw, which ends on 9 June.
