Fernandes wins Player of the Month for February
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has been named our Player of the Month for February.
It's the first time this season our captain has won the award but we can't think of a more worthy winner for his performances as of late.
Bruno has fended off competition from Harry Maguire and Joshua Zirkzee to claim February's prize.
In another difficult month for the Reds, Fernandes has epitomized what it means to lead United both on and off the field.
Fernandes scored a stunning goal at Goodison Park and was named Man of the Match as we fought back to draw 2-2 in a spirited display on Merseyside, against Everton.
He was also in inspired form against Ipswich Town just a few days ago and grabbed a vital assist for Harry Maguire's powerful header that eventually won the game.
His tireless running and fine leadership across the 90 minutes was well documented and also vitally received by those inside the Theatre of Dreams on Thursday in our 3-2 success.
Bruno also delivered another peach of a delivery for Maguire to head in our winner in the 2-1 FA Cup success over Leicester City on February 7.
We are honoured to crown Fernandes the winner and hope he can continue his rich form in tomorrow's clash with Fulham in M16.
Congratulations, Bruno!
