Fernandes then unleashed a perfect cross for striker Benjamin Sesko to head home the winning goal in front of the Stretford End.
Bruno was duly voted our official Man of the Match.

LET’S KEEP GOING
Sunday’s victory lifted United above Aston Villa and up to third in the Premier League table as the race for Champions League qualification hots up.

Bruno's 20 PL goals and assists this season
FANTASTIC FERNANDES | Bruno is one of only two players to have reached 20 Premier League goal involvements in 2025/26...
“We are going through a very good spell,” said Fernandes. “A positive spell. We knew we were capable of this. It's not from there [Carrick taking over], it's from Newcastle on Boxing Day, a while ago.
“We need to be able to play better football, for us, it's a sign we want to improve. The resilience of defending and getting the end result is sometimes very important for the team to understand.
“The spirit is very high and it will be massive in the next game against Newcastle.”
