Bruno shows love for Juan in social media exchange

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has highlighted the Reds' team spirit with his latest social media posts about Juan Mata following the Spaniard's return to action.

Fernandes was the man who made way when Mata came on for his first appearance for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men since our 3-1 win over Newcastle in February. With just under 20 minutes to play in our return leg of the Europa League quarter-final against Granada, our no. 8 entered the pitch after receiving the armband from the outgoing Portuguese magnifico.

Our Spanish playmaker played a part in our final goal at Old Trafford on Thursday night after almost getting a touch and putting pressure on Jesus Vallejo, who headed the ball into his own net following an Alex Telles cross from the left.

Following Juan’s return and a solid 4-0 aggregate win, Bruno used social media to show his appreciation for his team-mate.

Marcus Rashford has done what he can to spice up the dressing-room debate, in response. Our no. 10 replied to Bruno's tweet with a picture of the returning Spaniard alongside his fellow countryman David De Gea, questioning who Juan's best friend is in the United squad really is and how our keeper would react to Bruno’s post.

That led to our Portuguese playmaker reassuring our goalkeeper that he is a part of the 'Iberian Bromance'. In addition, the 26-year-old also sent some love to Rashford accompanied with a picture of them celebrating a goal from our win at the Amex Stadium against Brighton & Hove Albion at the start of the season.

It's clear that the team morale is high and that our Spanish magician is a much-appreciated member of the Reds' first-team squad.

Our Player of the Month for September will hope that he will get more opportunities to showcase his talent before the end of the campaign. It's great to have you back, Juan!
