Confirmed: United team to face Palace
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has chosen his starting XI to face Crystal Palace at Old Trafford for our opening match of the 2020/21 campaign.
United line up as follows:
De Gea, Fosu-Mensah, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Pogba, James, Fernandes, Rashford, Martial.
Subs: Henderson, Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Fred, van de Beek, Greenwood, Ighalo.
Explaining his team selection to MUTV, Ole said: "The ones who have been training and doing well from the start I felt we had to make those changes. I felt that some of them had to wait a little bit longer before they were ready.”
Asked if we're likely to see new signing Donny van de Beek, the boss added: "Definitely, that’s for sure. One he is a game-changer if we need it but also he is eager to go and he has got qualities that we need. Even if the game doesn’t demand a change I reckon you will see him.”
