Help Ronaldo win Player of the Month
Cristiano Ronaldo has been nominated for the Premier League’s official Player of the Month award for April.
Our magnificent no.7 enjoyed one of the most prolific spells yet of his second stint with the club, netting five goals across United’s four top-flight matches.
Top of the bill was his stunning hat-trick against Norwich City at Old Trafford – his second treble in as many games at our home ground, following March’s effort which also came in a 3-2 victory, over Tottenham Hotspur.

Ronaldo followed that up with his 100th Premier League goal, albeit in a losing cause at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal beat United 3-1.
And the Portuguese superstar wrapped up the month in fine style, latching on to Nemanja Matic’s lofted pass before belting the ball beyond Edouard Mendy to secure a point in an Old Trafford clash with Chelsea.
Cristiano missed the games with Leicester and Liverpool, the latter due to tragic personal reasons, meaning the only time he completed a goalless 90 minutes in April was our 1-0 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park.
Apart from that, he was absolutely vital in front of goal for Ralf Rangnick’s side, with Fred the only other player to score for United during the month.
Unsurprisingly, CR7 claimed our club Player of the Month prize for the fourth time this season, following wins in September, October and March, and he is now bidding for a sixth Premier League award, which would put him behind only Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane (both seven) in the all-time list.

And make sure you vote, because there is some stiff competition, with Kevin De Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus (both Manchester City) and Thiago Alcantara (Liverpool) making the shortlist with their contributions in what is a tight title race.
Son Heung-min (Tottenham) and Leandro Trossard (Brighton) have both been among the goals recently, while January signing Bruno Guimaraes continues to be transformative for Newcastle United.
Burnley’s Nathan Collins rounds off the list, with the centre-back stepping up in place of captain Ben Mee to boost the Clarets’ survival chances under Mike Jackson.
Voting for Player of the Month closes at midday BST on Monday 9 April.
