The first two episodes of Digital Soccer School, our dynamic new video skills series for Junior Members, launched last week.
Hosted by Movement Director AK with help from our Academy coaches, each episode focuses on a different skill or technique displayed by Manchester United’s first-team stars.
Two new fun, fast-paced videos will drop regularly and be made exclusively available to young Reds up to the age of 16 who are Junior Members of the club.
Episode 2 focuses on short-range finishing and composure in front of goal, as displayed by forward Leah Galton on a regular basis during her five years in the United Women side.
Academy coach Imran Hamid shows AK the technique required to round the goalkeeper and finish from a tight angle, and sets him up with some drills to practise the skill.

"In the moments of the game, it’s really important to keep your composure in front of goal," Imran says. "So we’re going to be working on that to make sure we can score goals in all types of situations."
