Manchester United defender Di’Shon Bernard has extended his loan with Salford City until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old has enjoyed a successful first half of the campaign since joining the Ammies in October, and gaining his first taste of senior football.
Jacob Carney is embarking on another loan move away from United.

The centre-back won the GiveMeSport Fans’ Player of the Month after scoring his first goal in League Two and keeping four clean sheets in December.

Salford moved up to fifth in the table on Tuesday night with a 1-0 victory at Scunthorpe United.

Elsewhere, goalkeeper Jacob Carney has joined Portadown FC on loan until the end of the season after ending his spell at Brighouse Town.

Everybody at United would like to wish Di’Shon and Jacob the best of luck this term as we follow their progress.
