Ten Hag names side for Palace test

Saturday 21 September 2024 16:15

Erik ten Hag has selected his Manchester United side to take on Crystal Palace.

The action at Selhurst Park gets under way at 17:30 BST as the Reds look to build on successive wins against Southampton and, in the Carabao Cup, Barnsley.

The big news is that Marcus Rashford starts on the bench. The homegrown forward scored three times in those two victories but Amad and Alejandro Garnacho provide the width, with Joshua Zirkzee leading the line.

Garnacho for Rashford is the only change from the St Mary's success in our last Premier League assignment.

There is the encouraging sign of seeing Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund both on the bench, after the pair returned to training this week.
