The latest issue of Inside United is on sale now

Tuesday 19 January 2021 09:58

The latest issue of our official club magazine Inside United is out today (Tuesday), with Harry Maguire starring on the front cover.

The skipper strikes a suitably determined pose, and inside his key messages – via an excerpt from his upcoming appearance on UTD Podcast (keep an eye out for that dropping on 25 January) plus an exclusive Q&A – are all about continuing on the upwards trajectory that the team is currently on, with the ultimate goal of this talented, youthful squad’s development being to start winning silverware.

“We’re a young team which is improving a lot,” says Harry. “Lifting a trophy would mean the world. That’s why I joined this club. I want to lift trophies, to win competitions, to win titles. For the team, it would bring on the confidence, the winning mentality. It would be massive.”
Make sure to check out Harry's podcast episode next week - you don't want to miss it.
Elsewhere in the magazine, Wayne Rooney’s epic overhead kick against Manchester City is relived as it turns 10 years old (was that magic moment really a whole decade ago?), and Eric Bailly answers some quickfire questions on what makes him tick (find out what makes him happy, what his idea of relaxation is and which three team-mates he’d chose to join him on a desert island).

The fabled ‘United Trinity’ of George Best, Denis Law and Bobby Charlton come into focus in the mag’s history section, where there’s also the evocative story of the man who played the bagpipes pre-match at Old Trafford in mourning of Sir Matt Busby after the great man passed away in 1994.
There’s also lots of reaction to and analysis of the Reds’ great recent run on the pitch, plus previews of the big matches to come this month, as well as all the mag regulars such as the ever-popular quiz.

The February 2021 edition of Inside United is on sale in shops now, and is also available to buy or subscribe to via manutd.com/magazine.
