Manchester United quartet Millie Turner, Lucy Staniforth, Ella Toone and Lauren James have all been called up by Phil Neville for his 29-player Lionesses squad, to take part in a 10-day training camp.

England were due to play Norway in a friendly at Bramall Lane on 1 December, but the game was cancelled due to current COVID-19 considerations in Norway.

Instead, the four Reds will join the rest of the squad at St. George's Park from Sunday 22 November for two in-house practice matches, with James making it into the senior side for the first time.

"I'm delighted to give Lauren her first senior call-up," said Neville. "She is an exciting young player that we want to develop further. She joins the squad alongside many other young players who we've introduced over the last few months."

Turner and Toone are yet to make their England debuts but have been part of previous training camps, while Staniforth scored on her debut against Kazakhstan in September 2018 and has two goals in 16 appearances so far.

All four players featured in our latest Women's Super League outing as United battled back from 2-0 down to salvage a point against Manchester rivals City, staying top of the table in the process.

United play the Blues again on Thursday, in the Continental Cup.
