'He's the best in the air I have seen!'
Manchester United defender Harry Maguire says Casemiro is the best player in the box aerially he has ever seen.
Our no.18 was on the scoresheet yet again, as we saw off fellow European hopefuls Brentford at Old Trafford, heading home after Harry had steered Bruno Fernandes's corner in his direction.
It's now nine for the season for our departing Brazilian, with fans inside the Theatre of Dreams once again begging for the former Real Madrid man to stick around.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Maguire shared huge admiration for the contribution Casemiro has given to United over the last few months.
Maguire: We had to dig in!
Harry Maguire credits Brentford’s approach as he analyses Monday’s victory in M16…
"It was something that Bruno spoke about, going with an outswinger," began our no.5
"I thought I was good at attacking in the box until I met him. His timing, his leap, his aggression, his technique; it is the best I have seen and worked with and he is really clinical.
"He has been a massive boost this season because, without his goals, we wouldn't be nowhere near where we are in the table."
Maguire went close to scoring himself and was only denied by a brilliant stop from Caoimhin Kelleher, which was checked by the Premier League's goalline technology.
Humble as ever, the United defender admitted how he felt he could have done even better with his header.
‘Casemiro’s match intelligence is exceptional’
Liam Bradford and Ben Thornley digest the key moments from our win over Brentford…
"In the time, I thought it might have gone over the line. I got up well," said Harry.
"I didn't catch it as clean as I wanted to, I wanted to get more power on it and it was a great ball and the pace was on the ball as it was coming towards me.
"I got up well but thought I could have caught it a lot cleaner, more power on the header. It was a good header in the end. Thankfully it didn't make a difference to the result."

Manager Michael Carrick had to switch around our formation in order to help see us over the line, especially after Mathias Jensen grabbed a late goal.
Harry added how fine-tuning our defensive shape definitely had a positive effect in the game in M16.
Sesko: We gave every last bit of sweat!

"No definitely not, the formation change has helped us a lot and the results spoke for themselves when we was a back three," responded Maguire when pressed on our change in shape under the boss.
"Michael [Carrick] has come in and changed to a back four and the results have changed a lot. We were comfortable in both formations but we didn't cover as much of the pitch as we did in the last 20 minutes of the first half, we were allowing a lot of balls into the box.
"They were putting a lot of numbers into the box and we didn't deal with well enough. They had a lot of changes in the last 20 minutes of that first half and it was good that the manager changed it for the second half. It was then a lot more comfortable."
