Manchester United lost 2-0 to Liverpool on Sunday, with Virgil Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah netting in each half for the Merseysiders.
After weathering an early second-half storm from the hosts, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men dominated much of the final part of the game before Salah sealed the victory for the league leaders in the dying stages.
Anthony Martial had perhaps the best scoring opportunity for United, but fired high and wide, while Andreas Pereira was inches away from converting Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s cross in the opening period.
