Your guide to the festive schedule

Monday 23 December 2024 11:26

We are rapidly approaching the end of 2024 but there is still plenty of Premier League football to be played before the year is out.

From a Manchester United perspective, we have two games remaining - at Wolves on Boxing Day and against Newcastle United on Monday 30 December.

Ruben Amorim's press-conference quotes on the Molineux encounter are released on Christmas Eve at 13:30 GMT, while the pre-Magpies briefing is provisionally scheduled to be published at 13:30 GMT this coming Friday (27 December).

The Reds are back in Premier League action on Boxing Day at Molineux.

The Reds are desperate for a post-Christmas pick-me-up after Sunday's home loss to Bournemouth and firstly take on a Wolves side who won their opening fixture under new boss Vitor Pereira, 3-0 at Ruud van Nistelrooy's Leicester City.

The 17:30 GMT start is being broadcast live on Amazon Prime Video.

After a blank weekend, it's then Monday night football at Old Trafford, with Newcastle's visit live on Sky Sports in the UK, kicking off at 20:00 GMT.

As is traditional, there is football spread across the coming days so fans are kept entertained over the festive spell.

Things all start with the lunchtime clash at the Etihad Stadium on Boxing Day between Manchester City and Everton.

Although our meeting with Newcastle is the final Premier League fixture of 2024, there are two other matches on the same night - Aston Villa are facing Brighton & Hove Albion and Ipswich Town host Chelsea.

Please note there is a solitary top-flight game on New Year's Day, with Brentford entertaining Arsenal at 17:30 GMT.
