Jose Mourinho has made three changes to his Manchester United side to face Newcastle at Old Trafford today [Saturday].

The boss has brought in Scott McTominay, Ashley Young and Anthony Martial in alterations to the Champions League starting XI in midweek against Valencia.

McTominay makes his second Premier League start in succession after playing last Saturday in the 3-1 defeat at West Ham. McTominay replaces Marouane Fellaini, presumably in midfield.

Young is back after injury forced him out of the 0-0 European tie last Wednesday and has been handed the captain’s armband in place of Antonio Valencia in the role as he starts at right back.

Up front, the manager has brought in Martial to replace Alexis Sanchez. The French striker came on for the Chilean as a substitute against Valencia.

Scott McTominay is handed a second successive league start.
