Mata is rested and ready to face Rafa's Newcastle

Hello to everyone. I am writing to you this week after having disconnected from football for a few days. As you know, we are in another international stop, so there is rest at club level and I have taken the opportunity to travel, see my family and rest.

From today we return to the training with the mind set on the Newcastle, and the importance of the months that lie ahead, as they come loaded with games, especially during the Christmas period. These are moments in which a good form of the team can be decisive for the second part of the championship.

Returning now to our appointment against Newcastle next Saturday, everyone knows that it is not a newly promoted, but an important club in which there are several Spanish. Among them Rafa Benítez, a trainer with whom I was lucky to work in the past. It will be nice to see you again. We hope to make a good game that allows us to get the three points and continue showing that strength in Old Trafford as before. It is essential to continue maintaining the position at the top of the table.

Let's now talk about football not only as a sport but also as a force of union and social tool in the world. Last Thursday we put an end to the exhibition based on the photos we took this past summer in India. As many of you know, it is a collection of images about our experience together with the OSCAR Foundation within the Common Goal project . The experience has been fantastic, with 40,000 visitors and many of you commenting on the photos on the web. I want to thank you once again and tell you that this week we will announce new places where the photos will continue to be displayed, so you can continue bidding for them and thus have a good Christmas gift helping the OSCAR Foundation in its entirety ;-)

On the other hand, a few days ago we welcomed Duncan Watmore to Common Goal , a player who played for United and who is sure to contribute a lot to the project. A young and different footballer who joins the movement :-). And I would also like to welcome Chris Wondolowski, the US international and first MLS player in Common Goal, to the project. The family continues to grow!

I say goodbye, wishing you a good week for everyone!

Hugs,

Juan
