Sir Alex x Kaka: What a pic!
Sir Alex Ferguson was pictured with one of the greatest players he managed against this week: legendary Brazilian midfielder Kaka.
The ex-AC Milan and Real Madrid hero posted the image with our iconic former manager to 29.1 million followers on his official X account, drawing plenty of adoring reaction from the football community.
Kaka’s photo is accompanied by the caption: “Every conversation is a lesson, thank you Mister Ferguson!”

The Brazilian retired from professional football in 2017 and, now 42, may have been tapping into Sir Alex's masterful management knowledge, having indicated a long-term desire to stay in the game since hanging up his boots.
Kaka was a guest at our Carrington training ground in September 2022 while on a training course, having enrolled on UEFA's Masters for International Players' qualification, which equips ex-professionals with the skills required to successfully transition to a second career within football organisations.
The 2007 Ballon d’Or winner scored three times across AC Milan’s two-legged semi-final success against United in that year, on the way to winning the UEFA Champions League.
He had previously played in both matches of the clubs’ meeting in the last 16 of the competition two seasons earlier, and featured in Ferguson’s last-ever European game as a substitute for Real Madrid in 2013.
It was great to see the two posing together earlier this week – the epitome of a legendary link-up!
