Kohler launch Safe Water For All campaign
A proud partner of Manchester United, Kohler is excited to launch its third annual campaign to raise awareness of the critical need to address water access, quality and conservation, and broaden public understanding around the water crisis that affects up to 2.2 billion people globally, according to the World Health Organisation.
Kohler is taking action to conserve water and make safe water and sanitation a reality for those affected most by lack of access to safe sanitation and water management.
By partnering with humanitarian organisations worldwide to develop and fund access solutions to meet the unique needs of communities around the globe, Kohler is making safe water access a reality for those who need it most.
To mark this year's International Women’s Day, Kohler is highlighting the importance of women and girls having access to clean water.
Water is a basic human right, and unfortunately, females are disproportionately negatively impacted by the lack of access to safe water.
Research has also shown that climate change has a greater impact on women and girls, who often are forced to leave school early and are unable to work.(IUCN)
SUPPORTING INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
Find out how Kohler is doing their part.
A lack of safely managed water and sanitation is an equity issue.
Women and girls are disproportionately affected by poor water, sanitation and hygiene services and facilities.
At the same time, their voices and needs are often absent in the design and implementation of improvements, thereby ensuring their continued marginalisation.(UN Water)
