December's Inside United is out now
The latest edition of Inside United, the club’s official monthly magazine, is now on general sale (though early birds may have seen it available at Old Trafford if they were at the game against Leicester on Sunday).
Manuel Ugarte is this month’s cover star – and he rose to the occasion with a fantastic performance against the Foxes, very much living up to the magazine’s billing as our ‘uncompromising Uruguayan enforcer’.
In a compelling interview premiered in full in the magazine (and later to be seen in its entirety on club channels), Manuel takes us through the footballing journey that has taken him to Old Trafford.

INDUSTRIOUS UGARTE | Manuel made six tackles and completed 92 per cent of his passes on Sunday…
That Q&A spans his earliest days playing ‘baby futbol’ in Uruguay, his precocious beginnings as a professional in his home country (he made his debut at age 15), a rapid rise in the Portuguese game and success at Sporting Lisbon (under Ruben Amorim). He also spoke of further silverware and development at PSG (“marking Kylian Mbappe [in training] helps you a lot!” he says), and now settling into life in Manchester and at United (“it already feels like home”).
Other Reds to feature in the new issue include Andre Onana, as the magazine looks at the keeper’s growing influence through a series of key stats, and Paul Scholes, who is wished a happy 50th birthday via 50 different nuggets showcasing his stellar United career (think goals, moments, quotes and tributes).

Elsewhere, there is an interview with United Women's manager Marc Skinner, a recap of our history at Portman Road in preparation for our first visit there in over 20 years later this month, the inside story of the Academy’s recent journey to far-flung Lithuania on UEFA Youth League duty, some rich club history including the successes of Matt Busby’s first great side, plus plenty of fan representation (like the story of the trip to Ipswich in May 1994 to watch Cantona and Giggs set the Reds up for another title).
