Line-ups confirmed: Bournemouth v United

Michael Carrick has named an unchanged Reds side, from the one that started Sunday's 3-1 victory over Aston Villa last time out.

The only alteration to the matchday squad sees young defender Tyler Fredricson replace Noussair Mazraoui on the bench, who missed training earlier this week due to illness.

That means it's Senne Lammens in goal, in front of a back four of Diogo Dalot, Leny Yoro, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw. Maguire continues at centre-back, having been named in Thomas Tuchel's England squad for the March internationals earlier today.

Kobbie Mainoo was also selected in that 35-man group and is set to start in the United midfield tonight alongside Casemiro and captain Bruno Fernandes, two of our four scorers in December's reverse fixture at Old Trafford, which ended in a 4-4 draw.

Amad and Matheus Cunha were also on target in that clash before Christmas and could line up on the wings for United this evening, either side of Fernandes, who is expected to operate behind Bryan Mbeumo up front.

Mason Mount returned to the matchday squad last weekend, albeit as an unused substitute, and could get his first minutes since January's derby victory over Manchester City tonight. The midfielder, back from a spell on the sidelines, is available as an option on Carrick's bench again, as is in-form striker Benjamin Sesko.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, have made two changes to the XI that began their last game, a 0-0 draw away to Burnley. Alex Jimenez replaces Adam Smith in defence, with Amine Adli coming in for Junior Kroupi further up the field.
