Match postponed: Liverpool v United Women
Manchester United Women's match against Liverpool at Prenton Park in the Women's Super League has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The Reds were due to face the Merseyside outfit on Sunday at 12:00 GMT, but due to persistent rainfall in the area, the referee has deemed that the game could not go ahead.
It is the second time that we have had a game postponed this season, with our final WSL fixture of 2019, against Birmingham City, also called off due to inclement weather.
However, it is not long until United are back in action. Casey Stoney's Reds will be at home to Brighton & Hove Albion on 15 January at Leigh Sports Village, in the quarter-finals of the Continental Tyres Cup.
Kick-off is at 19:30 GMT and tickets are available here. Extended highlights will be available to view on MUTV at 18:30 GMT the following day.
