Who won Man of the Match?

Saturday 22 January 2022 18:36

Match-winner Marcus Rashford was named Manchester United's Official Man of the Match, after the late 1-0 victory over West Ham United.

Rashford scored the all-important winner with virtually the final kick of the game, ghosting in at the back post to tap in Edinson's Cavani's low cross. The substitute provided much-needed impetus when he came on in the second half, and made the difference.

He received 40 per cent of your vote, to win his first MOTM award of this season.

Who is your Man of the Match from the dramatic 1-0 win over West Ham?

Bruno Fernandes, who is no stranger to the award, having claimed it after the Villa draw last Saturday, came second.

The Portuguese again played well in his new 'no.8' role and received 13 per cent of your nominations.

The rest of the vote was split, with David De Gea a close third. Voters perhaps had his late save from an effort which deflected off Raphael Varane in mind.

Scott McTominay and Cristiano Ronaldo both won seven per cent of the vote but it is Marcus who is our clear winner. Congratulations, Rashy!
