United and adidas reveal the 2021/22 away kit

That’s why this season, we’re extremely proud to present our away kit for the upcoming 2021/22 season, and it’s a celebration of youth, defiance and the next generation. With a little nod to the past added in for good measure too. 

You see, the Mancunian Way isn’t just a road that runs through our great city, it’s a way of life, it’s more than concrete and tarmac, it runs through our blood and defines who we are.

The Manchester United 2021/22 away jersey is inspired by the power of youth, and the incredible achievements that can be reached through the willingness to stand up for what you believe in, have faith in yourself, and above all, to dare. 

We live in a world where it’s more important than ever to back your beliefs and to have resilience like Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and the rest of the team have done.

This away kit acts as a uniform for one of the most passionate outfits on earth, with nothing quite like the ferocity of youth and defiance, this is who we are. 

The iconic ‘snowflake’ jersey of 1990/92 is one of the most popular kits in United history, so it’s no surprise that you can see it on terraces at pretty much every game. 

It’s a kit that nobody has forgotten about, and one that has transcended generations. It also inspired our recent collaboration with adidas and Pharrell Williams to create the Human Race FC jersey last season. 

While the 2021/22 home kit looks back to our history, the away kit looks forward. A once-in-a-generation shirt, this is one that will be remembered.
