Manchester United’s international fan event, #ILOVEUNITED, is coming to Shanghai on Saturday 9 December, celebrating our incredible supporters based in China.

For the first time since 2017, #ILOVEUNITED Shanghai will return with a three-week celebration of Reds fans in China, featuring locally tailored content across our channels, starring first-team players and club legends alongside the fans themselves.

The campaign culminates in two opportunities for fans to immerse themselves in the magic of Manchester United in the centre of Shanghai.

The #ILOVEUNITED Fan Carnival takes place at The River Mall from 10:00 to 22:00 (CST). This will give fans the chance to delve into the world of United with interactive games and experiences, as well as giveaways, exclusive photo opportunities and much more.

The River Mall carnival experience is a free event open to all with no ticket required for entry.

Attention then turns to Yi Show, a ticketed event where hundreds of fans will join Treble-winning legends Dwight Yorke and Andrew Cole for a special live screening of the match against AFC Bournemouth.

Doors will open at 21:00 (CST) and fans will get the chance to meet their heroes and enjoy the full matchday experience in the build-up to kick-off at 23:00 (CST).

#ILOVEUNITED Shanghai is free to attend to fans who successfully receive a ticket via the free-to-enter ballot. Fans can apply online for tickets by visiting www.manutd.com/ILOVEUNITEDCHINA before Thursday 30 November.

Applications will then be entered into a ballot, with tickets issued at random. Successful applicants will be notified by email no later than Friday 8 December.

United’s CEO, Alliances and Partnerships, Victoria Timpson, said: “The club has a large, passionate following in China, and we greatly appreciate the support and loyalty of our fans in this region.

“We are excited to be returning to Shanghai with the first #ILOVEUNITED event of the season and look forward to bringing the Manchester United matchday magic to our global supporters.”
