Reds' first three games moved for live TV
The new Premier League season feels that little bit closer now all three of our August fixtures have been rearranged for live television coverage.
Supporters can circle the date of Saturday 14 August in their diaries as it is hoped we will be allowed more fans into the ground for our opening match of the season.
Leeds United visit Old Trafford in a fabulous start to the campaign, with the clash against one of our chief rivals kicking off at 12:30 BST.
However, it is the second game of the 2021/22 top-flight as newcomers Brentford's London derby against Arsenal is taking place a day earlier, with a 20:00 BST start.
The following weekend, United's first game on the road is at Southampton with the encounter moved to Sunday 22 August.
The 14:00 BST kick-off presents an opportunity for the Reds to extend our unbeaten away league run to 27 matches, which would match Arsenal's record.
There is another Sunday afternoon fixture to look forward to as Ole's men will face Wolves on 29 August, this time with a 16:30 BST start.
It is a quick return to Molineux as we beat the Black Country side 2-1 in the final league outing of last season, but there will be a new man in the home dug-out as Nuno Espirito Santo has departed, with his fellow Portuguese coach Bruno Lage taking over the reins.
The Premier League has also noted our trip to West Ham United on 18 September is subject to change if the Hammers progress in the Europa League.
