Five fixture changes announced for United
Manchester United's Premier League schedule has undergone its first set of changes, following the selection of five fixtures for live TV coverage in the UK.
It was already known that the Reds' opening match of the new league campaign - at home to Fulham - would be played on Friday night, 16 August, and be shown live on Sky Sports.
The broadcasters have now completed their picks for the first two months of the season, enabling clubs and their fans to plan ahead in more detail.

United's second game, away to Brighton & Hove Albion, will also now be moved from its provisional Saturday 15:00 BST slot. Remaining on the original date of 24 August, it will now kick off earlier at 12:30 BST and will be screened live on TNT Sports.
The season's first encounter between English football's two most successful clubs - United v Liverpool at Old Trafford - has been moved from Saturday 31 August to Sunday 1 September, and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
However, the kick-off time is still to be confirmed, which is also the case for Newcastle United v Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea v Crystal Palace on the same day.

United's first three Premier League games after September's international break have also been selected for live TV coverage in the UK.
This includes two long away trips; our visit to newly promoted Southampton on Saturday 14 September will be on TNT Sports in the 12:30 BST slot, while the journey to Crystal Palace seven days later will be for an early-evening kick-off at 17:30 BST.
Our final game to be affected in this initial round of changes is the home showdown with Tottenham Hotspur. Old Trafford will now open its doors on Sunday 29 September, one day later than it was provisionally listed, and the action will get under way on Sky at 16:30 BST.
