Rashford reacts to England goal
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford sealed a memorable season with a goal for his country at the Stretford End.
England returned to Old Trafford for the first time since 2007 on Monday (19 June) evening, where they beat North Macedonia 7-0.
On the scoresheet just before the half-time whistle sounded, it marked the 16th England goal for Marcus since his debut in 2016 [against Australia], a game in which he also scored in.
Club colleagues Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire were also involved in the goals, with Shaw setting up Harry Kane’s opener.

For Rashford, though, it was just that bit more special as he netted at the Stretford End in the stadium he has called home for his entire career.
He became the first United player to score at Old Trafford since David Beckham in November 2001, with the midfielder netting with a penalty in a 1-1 draw against Sweden.
“That feeling of walking out for the national team at OT was immense,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Very professional performance @england.”

Our no.10 has been in high-flying form for the Reds and has ended up with 34 goals for club and country, registering 11 assists in that time too.
Three of those came at the 2022 World Cup back in December, before he returned to M16 in top shape to help Erik ten Hag's men claim a third-placed finish and Carabao Cup success, and reach the Emirates FA Cup final.
