Manchester United's FA Youth Cup plans have become clearer, although any fixtures will not take place until 2021.

Neil Ryan's Reds reached the semi-finals of the competition earlier this year and will be looking to enjoy success in lifting a trophy we last won in 2011.

Goals from Wellens, McNeill and Hugill (2) secured victory in a fantastic game against Liverpool...

Salford City will be our third-round opponents after reaching that stage for the first time with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Tranmere Rovers on Friday night.

No date has been confirmed for the tie away to Salford but it is likely to be in January.

The draw has already been made for the fourth round, and there could be a cracking tie in prospect.

If United get past Salford, we will be at home to Liverpool, providing they beat either Sutton United or Camberley Town in their third-round tie.

The two teams contested a thrilling battle at Under-18s level recently, with United coming out on top 4-3.
