Jesse Lingard beats Nathan Bishop.

Inside the Reds' midweek training session

Although international matches are taking place across the globe, the work continues unabated at the Aon Training Complex.

Our cameras covered the latest session for the reduced squad on Wednesday with the group, of course, missing those away representing their countries.

With West Brom next on the Reds' agenda, even if the kick-off time of the Old Trafford encounter on 21 November has still to be announced, the preparation is already taking place.

The brilliant 3-1 away in at Everton, last time out, has given everybody a boost for this period and the players looked in good spirits as they went about their business.

Jesse Lingard, who has not played since the Carabao Cup ties at Luton Town and Brighton & Hove Albion in September, is stepping up his return from injury as he joined in with the main group. He looked sharp with his finishing and will hope to force his way into contention.

Uruguayan import Facundo Pellistri, who missed the trip to Istanbul Basaksehir and the Under-23s' victory at Brighton last week, was spotted as he continues his integration into life in the north of England.

Lee Grant, Sergio Romero and Nathan Bishop worked together with goalkeeping coach Richard Hartis; David De Gea (Spain) and Dean Henderson (England) are away on international duty.

Axel Tuanzebe was one of the Reds taking part in the session.

Among the others taking part were homegrown defenders Brandon Williams, Axel Tuanzebe and Teden Mengi. Luke Shaw, of course, faces a month on the sidelines after sustaining a hamstring injury at Goodison Park.

We hope the rest of the players return fit and well from their exertions with their countries in readiness for a hectic spell as the winter approaches.
