Reds react to Martial’s farewell
Manchester United players and fans are sending well wishes to Anthony Martial, who is departing the club after nine seasons at Old Trafford.
The forward's time as a Red will conclude this summer and he said goodbye via a post to supporters on Instagram, which featured a five-minute video of his United highlights and an emotional thank-you message.
Anthony scored 90 times across 317 appearances after joining from AS Monaco as a teenager in 2015 and, while some unfortunate injury luck has limited his opportunities to add to those numbers frequently in recent years, the Frenchman’s contributions are being remembered fondly.
