An unforgettable afternoon at Carrington

The children paid a special visit to Carrington to take part in a series of sporting challenges with the Reds, who took time out from the squad’s preparations for this Sunday’s match against Newcastle. 

Twenty students from Bredbury Green and Vale View Primary Schools met the United trio at the training ground, before competing in games of cricket, football tennis and mini golf.

The session finished with a lively Q&A in which the children asked the players about their respective football careers so far, before posing for photos that captured an unforgettable afternoon. 

Our Foundation works in 28 primary schools across Greater Manchester, aiming to develop and improve the wellbeing and life skills of children aged five to 11.
