Maguire, Shaw & Rashford react to the semi-final
Manchester United’s three England internationals – Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford – have all reacted proudly to Wednesday’s Euro 2020 semi-final victory over Denmark.
Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions booked a place in Sunday’s showpiece finale by earning a hard-fought 2-1 win at Wembley Stadium, thanks to a winning goal in extra time from captain Harry Kane.
It was an absorbing night at Wembley Stadium with over 60,000 supporters in attendance and, after 55 years without reaching a major final, and over 18 months of strict coronavirus restrictions, it’s fair to say the atmosphere was electrifying following that much-anticipated final whistle.
Maguire produced another talismanic performance in defence that highlighted his growing stature on the international stage and many fans are tipping him for a place in UEFA’s official Team of the Tournament – which is high praise, considering he missed the first two group games through injury.
After enjoying the win with his team-mates on the Wembley turf – leading to some incredible images for photographers – Harry posted: “Stuff dreams are made of. One more game to go.”

Shaw was again a standout performer on England’s left flank as the defender continues to enjoy an unforgettable Euro 2020.
Given his form and contribution, Luke is almost certain to start against Italy and he can’t wait: “Proud to be part of this team,” he posted. “One final push! See you all Sunday.”

In a typical show of class that is a mark of the man, our homegrown hero Rashford used his social media platforms to congratulate Denmark on their remarkable tournament and particularly following the terrible events involving star player Christian Eriksen on matchday one.
“I’m not sure how I would have reacted to seeing my teammate in such difficulty,” Marcus posted. “You captured everyone’s heart and I’m sure @ChrisEriksen8 is extremely proud of what you have achieved. Heads held high. I’m sure we’ll see you soon @DBUfodbold.”
Wow. Proud 🏴

Our prospective new signing Jadon Sancho, whose transfer from Borussia Dortmund is still subject to contractual terms and a medical, is also excited for this weekend's colossal fixture.
