"Exactly what we needed" - Reds savour win on social media
"Exactly what we needed" is the message from Brazilian midfielder Fred after he played a crucial role in Manchester United's thrilling 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
The 29-year-old was one of many Reds who used social media to celebrate the result, which holds great significance in the race to finish in the Premier League's top four.
Jubilant celebrations greeted each of Cristiano Ronaldo's three goals, which not only downed Tottenham but made him FIFA's all-time leading goalscorer in competitive matches, with a quite ridiculous 807 goals to his name.
Fred assisted the first part of Ronaldo's hat-trick, flicking the ball round a corner first-time and teeing up the Portuguese icon to thump a powerful drive past Hugo Lloris in the Spurs net.
Big win. Exactly what we needed. Thanks God! #mufc #faith pic.twitter.com/rwVHgAE6r3

Harry Maguire, Jadon Sancho and Diogo Dalot shared that sentiment, the latter describing the victory as "the best possible reaction" to last week's defeat in the Manchester derby.
Best possible reaction! Thank you Old Trafford ❤️
