Reds show appreciation for fans after win over Palace
Manchester United’s players are clear in their appreciation for the Old Trafford crowd’s role in our 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Despite the visitors’ efforts to score an equaliser, Erik ten Hag’s side held firm and were backed audibly by a vociferous home crowd, to get over the line.

That support was certainly felt by our players on the pitch, with Raphael Varane tweeting after the final whistle: “Big battle today!! Old Trafford you helped us get across the line.”
Goalscorer of the decisive goal on the afternoon, Marcus Rashford, shared a similar sentiment on social media, saying: “Without the fans cheering us over the line today, this victory isn't possible.
