Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made four changes against West Ham at the London Stadium from the Reds XI that started the 3-1 home defeat in the Champions League against PSG in midweek.

The manager brings in Dean Henderson in goal for his first Premier League start of his United career in place of the rested David De Gea.

Paul Pogba returns to midfield and is partnered by Donny van de Beek to replace Fred and Bruno Fernandes from the European match at Old Trafford; Fernandes is on the bench.

Marcus Rashford came off against PSG with a shoulder injury and is also amongst the subs and he is replaced by Mason Greenwood.

Talking to Sky Sports and MUTV about his team selection, Ole said: "The injury David had after Southampton has flared up a little bit so we didn’t want to take a risk with David so we kept him at home. Hopefully we can have him ready for the Leipzig game.

"Bruno has been kicked between pillar and post lately as well. He got a kick against Southampton and has had a sore foot since then. He’s another one that if I don’t have to use him I’d like not to.

"Marcus is fit enough to be on the bench," added the boss. "We need all the points we can get in these games of course and Marcus held his arm up, with a bad shoulder, and he’s said he’s ready if needed."
