Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Confirmed: United side to play Chelsea

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has announced his side to take on Chelsea, and has made five changes from the XI which drew with Real Sociedad in midweek.

The first of those alterations is between the sticks, with Dean Henderson, who kept a clean sheet against Real Sociedad, being replaced by David De Gea.

Ahead of the Spaniard, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw come in for Eric Bailly and Alex Telles, and the duo are joined by Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof in the four-man defence.

In the centre of the park, Scott McTominay makes a shock return. The midfielder looked set to miss out through injury, but has recovered in time for the trip to the Bridge. The Scotland international replaces Nemanja Matic and is joined by Fred in midfield.

Ole has opted to retain his three-player system just behind the striker from the midweek draw against La Real, meaning that Mason Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes and Daniel James all start.

That trio will offer support to Marcus Rashford, who comes in for Anthony Martial up front. The United no.10 has scored more goal against Chelsea than any other opponent and will be looking to add to that tally on Sunday. Of course, it could be a fluid frontline with Greenwood also a possibility to lead the line with Rashford out wide.
