Manchester United are all set for our final game of 2021, and the last Premier League fixture of the year, as the Reds take on Burnley at Old Trafford.

Interim manager Ralf Rangnick has selected his XI for the visit of a fresh Clarets side and will be hoping for a big improvement on the performance against Newcastle United on Monday evening.

Ralf has made six changes to the team that started on Tyneside.

Both full-backs are changed, with Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka replacing Alex Telles and Diogo Dalot. There is another new face in defence, with Eric Bailly drafted in to partner captain Harry Maguire.

Victor Lindelof is still out after testing positive for COVID-19, while Raphael Varane is on the bench.

Nemanja Matic is in for Fred in a holding midfield position, while Jadon Sancho and Edinson Cavani both came on at half-time at St James' Park and are rewarded for helping recover a point with starting spots. Marcus Rashford is among the substitutes but Bruno Fernandes is suspended.

United: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire (c), Shaw; Matic, McTominay; Sancho, Greenwood; Cavani, Ronaldo.

Substitutes: Henderson, Dalot, Telles, Varane, Fred, Lingard, van de Beek, Elanga, Rashford.
