How to watch all 2,000 Premier League goals

Monday 28 October 2019 17:54

All 2,000 of Manchester United’s Premier League goals will be streamed live across our various platforms on Tuesday, in celebration of us becoming the first club to reach the landmark.

Youth product Mark Hughes scored the maiden goal way back in August 1992 with a sweeping finish against Sheffield United. The 2,000th strike was fittingly netted by another Academy graduate, Scott McTominay, who executed an impressive long-range finish in Sunday’s victory over Norwich City.

Fans can watch each and every Premier League goal from 07:30 GMT on Tuesday via MUTV and our Official App, plus the club’s accounts on YouTube and Facebook

A second airing of all 2,000 Premier League goals will begin on MUTV from 22:00 GMT, following the live coverage of our Under-21s’ Trophy fixture against Doncaster Rovers.

Once the live stream of all 2,000 goals has concluded in our Official App, users will have access to a comprehensive box set of all the goals, split into each of our 27 seasons in the Premier League.

That allows supporters to enjoy the various campaigns at any given time, taking in the bounty of sensational strikes that have been scored over the years.

After scoring the club's 2,000th Premier League goal, McTominay spoke exclusively to us about securing his place in the record books.

“For sure, that’s a record I knew about before the game - that we were on 1,999 goals - and I’m delighted to get the 2,000th,” the Scotland international told us.

McTominay was later voted our Man of the Match at Carrow Road and you can win his shirt by entering our competition.
