Manchester United's Under-18s begin our Premier League Cup campaign this weekend, as we prepare to take on Aston Villa away (Saturday 12:00 BST).

Travis Binnion's side will be seeking a victory in the Midlands, having recorded one win and one loss so far this season in the U18 Premier League.

The game will be shown live on MUTV, and the United App with build-up commencing 15 minutes prior to the midday kick-off.

Our Under-21s are also in action, facing off against Liverpool in an away fixture at the LFC Academy (14:00 BST). This game however will not be broadcast live, due to clashes with Premier League fixtures - including the Merseyside derby at Everton.

Having started the campaign with an impressive 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest at Carrington, our young Reds were beaten 4-2 by Liverpool last weekend. Manni Norkett found the net in both outings, as he looks to build on last season's total of nine goals.

Ethan Williams, Ethan Wheatley and Sam Murray have all also opened their accounts for the 2022/23 campaign, ahead of the PL Cup tie against the Villans.

Aston Villa's Under-18s have played one game more than United so far this season, netting an impressive eight goals along the way.

Winning one, drawing one and losing one, the last result for Tony Carss's team was an impressive 5-2 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion.

Villans striker Rory Wilson found the net twice, in a game where they found themselves two goals down, before scoring five times to ensure a comprehensive win.
