Manchester United Under-21s will take on Wolves Under-21s in the next round of the Papa Johns Trophy.

Round-of-32 fixtures are set to be played on the week commencing 21 November, and Mark Dempsey will certainly hope his side can pass the latest test with flying colours.

United topped Group G, following victories over Barrow and Carlisle and a draw with Fleetwood Town.

Despite being defeated at Fleetwood on penalties, the Reds still earned a point from that match to ensure passage into the latest round of the tournament.

Wolves Under-21s were the runners-up in Group C, recording wins against Stockport and Shrewsbury while being beaten by group toppers Port Vale.

It will no doubt be a challenge for Dempsey's side to overcome this test, with the Reds having experienced indifferent domestic form this term.

However, they will certainly take some confidence from the fact that the last time the two sides met, in a Premier League 2 fixture in October, United emerged 3-2 victors.
