United Women's match against Chelsea is postponed
Due to the adverse weather conditions, and in the interest of safety, the Women's Super League game between Manchester United and Chelsea has been postponed.
The fixture was due to kick off at Leigh Sports Village at 16:30 GMT this afternoon (Sunday) but like other sporting events, it has fallen foul of Storm Ciara.
Leigh Sports Village would like to advise supporters that tickets already purchased for this fixture will be valid for use for the rearranged date once this is confirmed. Any customers wishing to obtain a refund must return their match ticket to their point of purchase.
For reference, any tickets purchased via Leigh Sports Village that require a refund need to be returned in person or by post to Ticket Office, Leigh Stadium, Leigh Sports Village, Leigh WN7 4JY, enclosing a daytime contact number.
Any tickets purchased via Manchester United must be returned to Old Trafford.
