Nottingham Forest fixture update

Tuesday 28 April 2026 15:00

Manchester United's final home match of the 2025/26 season, against Nottingham Forest, is still subject to change.

The Premier League has announced its schedule for the penultimate matchweek of the campaign, with issues still to be decided towards the top and bottom of the table.

No games can be staged on Saturday 16 May because this is when the Emirates FA Cup final between Chelsea and Manchester City is taking place, at Wembley Stadium.

Hence, the clash with Vitor Pereira's in-form side at Old Trafford was already pencilled in for Sunday 17 May.

It has been moved to a 12:30 BST kick-off on that date and will be shown live on Sky Sports in the UK.

However, the game could still be moved.

An alternative slot of Friday 15 May, at 20:00 BST, has been proposed, should Forest beat Aston Villa in the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League.

This would enable them to have time to prepare for the showpiece occasion in Istanbul, against either Braga or Freiburg.

The second leg of the tie with Villa is being played on Thursday 7 May, when the matter will become clear and confirmation of our game will be possible.

The same scenario has been arranged for Villa's home Premier League contest with Liverpool.

That is also set for 12:30 BST on Sunday 12 May but will move to the Friday at 20:00 BST, should Unai Emery's men prevail and reach the final in Turkey.
