Our executive co-chairman discusses matters on and off the pitch as he outlines his ambitions for the club.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they are committed Manchester United fans with extensive knowledge of the club, and of issues affecting the club and its supporters.

They will be expected to advocate on behalf of fans and provide constructive and well-informed advice to senior club leaders at quarterly meetings.

More information on the role, its requirements and how to apply can be found here.

The FAB will allow for confidential, board-level discussion between the club and fan representatives on strategic matters, in addition to the existing Fans’ Forum, which will remain in place as a broader representative body focused on matchday issues and the fan experience.

Two members of the FAB will be elected by the Fans’ Forum, ensuring a strong connection between the two bodies, and two further seats will be appointed by the Manchester United Supporters’ Trust (MUST).

A formal search process will be held for a seventh fan representative to Co-Chair the FAB, together with a senior club executive. The Fan Co-Chair will be selected in consultation with existing fan representatives, and all subsequent appointments to the FAB will be mutually agreed between the Co-Chairs.

Applications also remain open for three vacancies on the Fans’ Forum. More information about these and how to apply can be found here.
