Legends share United joy
Manchester United legends Sir Alex Ferguson and Eric Cantona were part of buoyant celebrations in the Reds' dressing room, after the epic 3-1 win at Paris Saint-Germain that earned the club a place in the last eight of the UEFA Champions League.
The pair were snapped with caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in a glorious photo, as players and staff members rejoiced in one of the greatest comeback wins in the club's history.
Asked about the words he shared with Sir Alex in the players' inner sanctum post-match, Solskjaer quipped: “You don’t make chat now. It’s too noisy! Great atmosphere, of course, and it’s great to see the boss in there.”
Sir Alex and Eric were far from the only legends toasting the team's tremendous achievement. A host of ex-players used social media to share in the elation.
