United players thank Chicago Fire for hospitality

Manchester United’s players and staff thanked their counterparts at Chicago Fire on Saturday morning for their fantastic hospitality during Tour 2025, presented by Snapdragon.

The MLS club’s facilities have provided Ruben Amorim and his squad with the perfect home away from home at which to best prepare for the new Premier League season.

United arrived in Chicago on Wednesday 23 June and have been made to feel welcome every day by the staff at Fire.

United have loved training at Chicago Fire.
The Reds now head to Atlanta for our third and final game of the Premier League Summer Series, having already played West Ham (2-1) at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium and AFC Bournemouth (4-1) at Fire’s home ground, Soldier Field.
Amorim presented Chicago Fire boss Greg Berhalter with a United shirt on our final day in the Windy City, and the full squad posed with training ground.

RUBEN'S BIG INTERVIEW | The boss talks cultural change at Manchester United in our catch-up on Tour 2025...

In our big tour interview with Ruben, he spoke glowingly about the facilities.

"It’s unbelievable," he said.

"The weather is good. There were a few days it was really hot, but even that was good, for us to suffer a bit.

"We have the gym, it’s next to the pitch, so the flow of things is really easy. There are two pitches, that is the minimum so you don’t have to stop too much between exercises. So it’s been perfect."

Thanks to everyone at Chicago Fire and we wish them good luck for the rest of their MLS season.
