Manchester United defied a difficult Prenton Park pitch to fire in five first-half goals and a sixth strike in the second period as Tranmere Rovers were routed 6-0 in the Emirates FA Cup.
As well as being an enjoyable Sunday afternoon for everyone associated with the Reds, it was also a notable day for the first two scorers Harry Maguire and Diogo Dalot, who both opened their goals account for the club within three minutes of each other.
Jesse Lingard, Phil Jones, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood, from the penalty spot, also found the net to complete our biggest win since Arsenal were overwhelmed 8-2 at Old Trafford in August 2011.
