FORM GUIDE

United come into this match on the back of an important 2-1 victory away to Fulham last time out. The young Reds started 2023 in the best way possible and will be hoping to keep that up.

Prior to that victory, our last Premier League 2 win was in October, with Premier League International Cup and Papa Johns Trophy fixtures sandwiched in between that triumph over Wolves and last week’s win at Motspur Park.

Saturday’s visitors have had an impressive start to the current campaign. Liverpool are just two points off league leaders Manchester City after 12 matches, and have won four out of their last five Premier League 2 games.

However, they were defeated in their last domestic fixture, falling to a 2-0 home loss to Tottenham.

The previous meeting between the two sides occurred back at the beginning of September, which finished in a 2-2 draw. Isak Hansen-Aaroen and Charlie McNeill got the goals for United, while Jake Cain and Bobby Clark were on the scoresheet for Liverpool.
