Manchester United's Under-18s beat Reading 4-1 at Carrington in the U18 Premier League Cup on Saturday.

Ethan Wheatley put United ahead after 19 minutes, with his effort from the edge of the area striking against both posts before crossing the line.

Gabriele Biancheri then made it two just before the hour mark, Ashton Missin's cross from the left was parried into the feet of the forward who doubled United's advantage.

Biancheri was at it again to double his own individual tally just five minutes later, with Missin's shot again falling kindly the way of the Welsh-born attacker, as he tapped home to make it 3-0.

Our young Reds celebrate Ethan Wheatley's opener at Carrington.
Biancheri completed a wonderful hat-trick to make it 4-0, thanks to a well-taken solo goal with just 20 minutes left to play.

Beating four players in the process, he then cooly applied the required finish from close range.

Reading did grab a late consolation through Kiyan Coke-Miles-Smith, after winning the ball back high up the pitch, but it was United who claimed victory on home soil.
