Explaining Sunday's cover of United Review
On Sunday, Manchester United will host Aston Villa for the 100th time in our history - with plenty at stake for both clubs.
United Review marks that milestone with an eye-catching front cover, featuring standout match programmes from the fixture’s storied past.
These 99 ‘home’ games were not all played at Old Trafford, by the way.
To clarify, the first was held at North Road, followed by six at Bank Street.
There were also three at Manchester City’s Maine Road, which is where we temporarily played during World War II, due to bomb damage at Old Trafford.
A sprawling feature within Sunday's matchday programme selects some of the Reds’ more enjoyable moments from the 99 home fixtures to date.
Copies of United Review are available to order online, to be posted to your door. Or you can pick up a copy from the booths around Old Trafford on Sunday.
Here’s how the 99 games break down…
89 = Old Trafford
6 = Bank Street
3 = Maine Road
